How long are the terms?

There are 3 terms each year, and each term is 9 weeks long, with these term dates.

What qualification will I get?

keyboard_arrow_down

The College’s aim is to give a rigorous academic education - and at the end of 3 years study successful students will receive the Selden College Degree-level Certificate and a transcript of their studies. In due course we expect to apply to the Office for Students for registration, and then to apply to them for Degree-Awarding Powers. It is too early to say in which academic year we may be able to award a bachelor-level degree.

What are the fees?

keyboard_arrow_down

Tuition fees are £12,875 for 2026-27 - we anticipate increasing fees each year in line with inflation.  There is a £250 discount if fees are paid in full before 31 August in each academic year.  Fees can be paid in three instalments according to an agreed schedule in the Fees Policy - and the College hopes to be able to continue to offer limited means-tested bursaries.  Fees for each academic year will be published by 1 October of the preceding year.

What is the weekly timetable like at Selden?

keyboard_arrow_down

A typical week will involve morning worship, 12-15 hours of taught (face to face, in person) classes and seminars, private study time, music and prayer, one or two meals with the staff, and, of course, free time. For 2025-2026, the days of taught study will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Because the class sizes are small, each student will receive an individualised and personal experience.

What books and equipment will I need?

keyboard_arrow_down

A book and equipment list will be sent out to enrolled students no later than September each year.

Are there any open days or virtual open days?

keyboard_arrow_down

Dates of the next Open Day will be posted on the website. Selden College also runs Summer School for 4-5 days each summer, to give potential students a taste of what the College aims to achieve. Sign up for updates to be informed about the next one.
